Representative Assembly
Meetings
Representative Assembly Meetings generally meet the first Wednesday of the month with a few noted exceptions*.
RA Format
Before the pandemic, MTA held membership meetings in person.
Our annual general membership included a social gathering.

During the pandemic, our Association met virtually and continues to evaluate the safety and concerns of our members.

As of January 2022, we continue meeting via Zoom.

Responsibilities
- Site Reps are elected to serve two-year terms.
- Site Reps are a liaison between the Representative Assembly and Active members of the site.
- Site Reps serve as the official channel between the Association and the members.
- Site Reps represent the views in votes taken in the Representative Assembly.
- Site Reps perform duties as prescribed by the Executive Board.
- Site Reps adhere to MTA bylaws.
Stipend Requirements
- Hold monthly 10-minute meetings.
- Disseminate MTA information.
- Attend at least 8 out of 10 Rep Assembly meetings.
- Fulfill one of the following work options:
- Participate on a standing committee.
- Attend four (4) standing committee meetings as a guest.
- Attend two (2) MCS Board of Education meetings.
- Attend a CTA conference.
